About Us

The Bangladesh Election and Public Opinion Studies (BEPOS) is dedicated to advancing the understanding of electoral behavior and public opinion in Bangladesh. Modeled after the American National Election Studies (ANES), BEPOS aims to provide a comprehensive and systematic analysis of voter attitudes, behaviors, and political trends across the country.

Through rigorous survey research conducted before, during, and after elections, BEPOS will produce high-quality, publicly accessible data that empowers scholars, policymakers, and citizens to engage with the democratic process more effectively.

By fostering evidence-based insights into the drivers of political participation and opinion formation, BEPOS strives to enhance democratic engagement and transparency in Bangladesh, contributing to the broader study of electoral politics in South Asia and Beyond.

Our Mission

BEPOS aims to bridge the gap in election study and public opinion research in Bangladesh

Inspired by international election studies like the British Election Study (BES) and the American National Election Studies (ANES), BEPOS sets the standard for evidence-based research, fostering a deeper understanding of Bangladesh’s democratic landscape.
