Dr. Md Muhibbur Rahman is a Postdoctoral Associate at Cornell University, where he is affiliated with the Department of Government and the Gender and Security Sector Lab. His primary research centers on conflict, security cooperation, and civil-military relations, focusing on democratic governance. He is particularly interested in understanding international factors contributing to democratic stability and the risks of backsliding, especially in the Global South.
